How I’d love, yes, how I’d love
To explain myself to you
It seems to me, however
That you don’t want explaining to

You are not inquiring
So we can share delight
Of gifted understanding
That we have both been right

And justified in feeling
Here that both our truths belong —
No, you desire to be correct
But make the other wrong
