    1. Tell you what, even as the years passed and her lies got more and more outrageous, I kept myself from being sorry I had her. I still don’t believe in regrets ~ I believe everything happens for an intricate net of good reasons ~ but if I did, that’s something I’d change. Not the experience of motherhood, necessarily, but definitely the bloodline of the child.
