(In the following poem, written today for a dear online friend ~ Louisa Zambrotta of WP’s Words and Music and Stories ~ the revolving rainbows resulted from the refractions of her crystal ring in the unaccustomed ray of sunshine made available by a slight loosening of the poet’s curtains, and the heartbeat was provided simultaneously and perfectly by the woofer of a passing vehicle)

louisa
distance is nothing
she murmured
warmly
that i am
taking off
for egypt
that i will
not be writing
online
that i am bringing
the energies of one
place to the other
and those back again
that i am going
into the fondly
waiting embrace
of the most ancient ones
these things
are as nothing
between we two
who need no
online
connection
we’ll think of it
as an opportunity
to practice
the new communication!
and
as she brought
her carefully gathered
precious wisdoms
to my inner ear
tiny rainbows suddenly
revolved around me and
a warm heartbeat
sounded in the distance

Reblogged this on words and music and stories and commented:
While I was away my dear online friend, poet Ana Daksina, dedicated two wonderful poems to me. Here is the first, which filled my heart with joy and emotion.
Luisa
la distanza non è niente
mormorò
affettuosamente
io sto
partendo
per l’egitto
non scriverò
online
porto
le energie di un
luogo all’altro
e poi le riporterò indietro
sto andando
nell’affettuoso
abbraccio degli antichi
che è in attesa
queste cose
non sono niente
tra noi due
che non abbiamo
bisogno di connessioni
online
lo considereremo
come l’opportunità
di praticare
la nuova comunicazione!
e
come lei ha portato
le sue preziose saggezze
raccolte con cura
al mio orecchio interiore
piccoli arcobaleni all’improvviso
ruotavano intorno a me e
un caldo battito del cuore
suonava in lontananza
